The Little Wild Goose pagoda was completed in 707 (about the time Europeans learned how to pile rocks together to make a hovel) and is now 13 stories tall. Originally 15 stories, it was split from top to bottom by a 6.25 magnituide earthquake in 1487, then slapped back together again in a 8.0 quake in 1556 (knocked off the top two stories though). You can climb to the top if you want.
