Much of my paddling time was spent with the boys attached to my canoe like lampreys. They would paddle up, apparently exhausted and I would let them grab on. I had tried towing, but they liked to tug on the line and bash into each other. I wanted them up in front so I could wallop them with the paddle when their hijinks got to be too much for me to handle (about every 90 seconds or so). |
