As we walk, we gather bits of rope and other flotsam and we toss them into this tree - sort of a coastal Christmas tree. In the spring, Stop Oregon Litter and Vandalism (SOLV) sponsors a beach cleanup, and they always strip out all our decorations. And then we just fill 'er back up again.
