Half Moon Bay is a tad schizophrenic - they aren't sure if they want to be a quiet coastal working town or a tourist attraction. The harbor is split in half, with the right side full of a dizzying variety of sail and power boats (like this pirate-y type here) and the left half full of working craft - fishing boats and shrimpers. The town itself is quaint, but again, a mix of things like high end art galleries and a feed store.
