They tossed. This was my second boat burning, and I had learned 2 things from the first one:

• Use lots of fuel in the boat - lots of burnable sticks and lots of fuel - I used a little over a gallon.
• Use LOTS of fire spears. Nothing is worse than having to go through the lighting ceremony again.
