I had known there would be kids at the house, so the previous week I had taught my nephews Cody and Ryan design theory and practical construction techniques for air cannons so they could shoot potatoes. Here you see me having everyone take the Potato Cannoner's Pledge:

  • I will not cause harm with my potato cannon
  • I will not allow others to cause harm with my potato cannon
  • With regard to my potato cannon, I will do my best to follow all local, state, and federal laws (the wording is important)
