She as a bit of a lee helm - she wants to turn and run down wind if left on her own. It is not bad - the pressure on the tiller was almost nil. She completed her tacks every time - never got stuck in the irons - and she went to windward quite well. I touched 5mph and spent a lot of time in the high 3s and mid 4s. A 14ft boat should have a maximum speed of about 5kts (5.75mph,) but 5mph is very respectable in the shifty winds at Cascade Gateway Park.
