While the glue was curing, I made thwarts so the boat will keep her shape when the frames are removed (had I attached the chines and gunnels AFTER bending over the frames, this probably wouldn't have been necessary.) I put a small one in at the bow. It is glued in place and also held in with stainless steel screws. I made it flush with the gunnels so a foredeck could be added later.
