While Jason used a hatchet to lop off the excess plywood, David R sailed up on his catamaran and said he found a boat floating upside down with no sailor to be seen. This is usually bad news, so Jon used his radio to call it in to the Coast Guard, then relayed the information to the rest of the fleet. Jon found out the skipper had been seen standing in 4ft of water in the middle of the bay and had been picked up by Chuck in Caprice. Jon (with Gordo's help) facilitated the communication between the Coasties and the Caprice and all was well.
