Morgan's weight shift caught Jerry by surprise and over they went. After this, things got, in my opinion, tragically comical. Morgan did not have a life jacket and immediately became Jerry's primary concern. Morgan struck out for shore and Jerry had to concentrate on rescuing the dog rather than himself. 2 Coot boats came to assistance and were able to fish both man and dog from the water, but they ended up unstepping the mast and towing the boat back to shore upside down. On shore, I of course, did the worst thing possible and said the boat was cursed. Both Greg and I stated that it was going to take an expensive and foolish ceremony to lift the curse. I don't know if they every carried out the ceremony - I guess we'll find out at the next messabout, won't we?
