We had a very nice launch. We just used everyday boat fenders as rollers and the boat slid down the beach as pretty as you please. We could either take the inside route, down the Intercoastal Waterway (ICW) or go outside Anne Maria Island and run down the coast. We chose the outside route. We had very light winds at the start, and the Sea Pearls got ahead of us (remember, the Laguna was designed for the brutal winds of the Texas200, not gentle breezes.)
