At about 7:15, I decided it'd be a good publicity stunt to show up at the Padre Island Yacht Club first.

There is no real value to being first, I just thought it'd be good bragging rights. Tom and I upped sail and took off, but the winds were very light and Lagunas are not made for light winds. Pretty soon, Travis and his grandkids (Travis and Garrett) came sailing by in the B&B Yacht Designs Princess 22, Pilgrim. Pilgrim was flying her staysail (that one in the middle) and she passed us easily.
