Eventually, we launched and drifted with the others. Chuck motored past us, towing John Vacha in his 12' sailing dinghy, Echo. John had capsized on his way into the yacht club yesterday and decided the Echo was not an appropriate boat for this event. He ended up selling it to the boys on the Pilgrim for $1 and transferring to the Caprice.
