I decided to embrace the concept of the Laguna fully, and use my experience in rapid building to see if I could find a way to build a Laguna in 2 days- on the beach at Port Mansfield. As you might suspect, this takes a lot of planning and preparation, 2 things at which I suck. My solution was to do a practice build - making a1/2 scale model in my garage. Jim's design is brilliant in that there is really nothing special or unique about it, so making a 1/2 cale model was pretty easy - just like it should be.
