They have reconstructed another kiva and allow people to go down inside it. It is dark dark dark inside. These might have been used for religious services (as contemporary ones are now) or as clan gathering places. Both Jim and I think they would have been great places to hang out in as they would have been cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Another thing we will never know.
