I needed to get at the point where the cable connects to the 220lbs keel. To do this, I needed to slide the boat off the trailer just far enough to drop the keel, do the work, then pull it back on the trailer. The first attempt was to try to tilt the trailer up and sort of push the boat off and back. It didn't work. The boat wouldn't budge.
